Zenobia for Christmas

Bright sunshine, nice people and a relaxed boat trip – that’s the short summary of our Zenobia Christmas Tour.

For me, it was my first tour to the Zenobia. I have dived many, many wrecks in my diving life, but the Zenobia is certainly one of the most impressive!

In 1980, the MS Zenobia, a Swedish ferry, was fully loaded and on its way to Syria. It was to be her first and last voyage – she finally sank in the bay of Larnaka and now lies on the bottom at a depth of up to 40m. It is now one of the top 10 wreck dive sites in the world and one of the largest diveable wrecks in the entire Mediterranean.

Yes it starts early in the morning, but it’s worth it!

At the wreck itself we did another Deep Special. The perfect place for it. 40 meters deep and super exciting.

Cyprus as an experienced diver without the Zenobia is unthinkable!

Be there next time!
