You are on vacation and have little time left? The first step, your Try Scuba was great and you want to go a little further? Then the Basic Diver is just right! Here you will gain more experience and learn a little more about the interrelationships of diving. Stress-free and relaxed in a morning or afternoon. You can book the Basic Diver as an independent course or as an extension of your Try Scuba. Your first diving license! Of course you will get credit for your Try Scuba if you did it with us.

At the beginning there is a detailed introduction to the equipment and the essential basics of diving. With the SSI App you can watch the Basic Diver course while relaxing at home or at the beach. Let's go! A great time underwater awaits you.

For us, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and safe. For this reason, we take as much time as you need. Before we go into the water, we will explain everything to you in detail and of course answer all your questions.

this is what your experience could look like
briefing
Your adventure starts at our center. Before each dive, we explain to you exactly what to expect. With the Basic Diver the first exercises under water already come up to you, which we explain to you of course in detail.
Once all questions are answered, we prepare for the dives and off we go!
1 dive
After we have put on our equipment, the adventure begins! Now only a few metres separate you from our crystal clear house bay. After a few steps, we arrive at the water’s edge and take all the time in the world to familiarise ourselves with the equipment and the new feeling. Only when you feel comfortable, we dive together into a new world. If you have done the Try Scuba before, it will be counted as your first dive.
2 dive
After a detailed briefing, we prepare for the second dive. This can take place at our house reef or in our Turtle Bay.
Here are some essential exercises coming your way. All playful and with a lot of fun.
You will learn to blow out your mask, recover your regulator and you will learn the first steps of buoyancy control. Floating under water – this is the most beautiful thing when you are under water. You will see that you come very close to this already on your second dive!
debriefing
After the dive we have enough time to talk about the experience and to immortalize your dives in the digital logbook of the SSI App. You liked it? We would be happy to discuss the next steps and find the right package for you together.
